Network Configuration

The IP address of your network connection is already set up at this point from the boot stage of the installation process. This step requires additional network information, such as, the hostname, domain name search, and the IP address of the domain name servers. If more than one item is provided in the domain name search or DNS fields, please separate them by spaces.

If you have a fully qualified domain name for the network device, enter it in the Hostname field.

	Tip
	Even if your computer is not part of a network, you can enter a hostname for your system. If you do not take this opportunity to enter in a name, your system will be known as localhost.
